How Omnitrope® injection training works

Your patients are our priority and that's why all patients enrolled in OmniSource® have access to a Nurse Trainer who will teach patients and their caregivers how to properly inject Omnitrope at home. This injection training can be done in person, by phone, or by video chat.

How to connect your patients with a Nurse Trainer for injection training

Arrange an initial training session

To arrange an initial training session for your patient, select “Injection Training” on the patient’s Statement of Medical Necessity (SMN) form.* Be sure to ask your patient to fill out the Patient Authorization form to begin the OmniSource enrollment process.

Offer additional support

If your patient needs additional injection training support, have the patient contact their OmniSource Case Manager (OCM) to arrange refresher training.

Injection training resources are also available for your patients

Omnitrope injection training resources are helpful for caregivers and patients who are learning how to inject Omnitrope at home. However, they are not a replacement for training from a Nurse Trainer.

All patients should review the full Prescribing Information and Instructions for Use, and ask their health care professional about anything they do not understand.
